Perunding Kos Bersatu Sdn. Bhd. (902781-T) was formed as a Body Incorporated in May, 2010. The registration with Board of Quantity Surveyor was approved on August, 2010 bearing the permit number 2010/FC00475. The inception of this Company is with the sole purpose of providing consultancy services encompassing all aspects of quantity surveying works.
Formerly known as Perunding Kos HC, under Sole Proprietorship, the firm has started offering consultancy services to numerous projects since its inception on year 2008. Our objectives are always to bring the best to our clients in term of quality, resourcefulness, prompt responses and value added service. With the company objectives always as priority and taking into account the rapid expansion, new talents have been brought in to form a new identity which is Perunding Kos Bersatu Sdn. Bhd.

With a total of 20 years experience in the industry, both directors have administered projects ranging from government facilities, transportation hub, 5-star hotels, factories, commercial and retail mall, offices and housing to refurbishment and interior fit-out works. Together with a team of experience and dedicated staffs, we believe we can offer better cost solutions.
Customised software in measurement and costing are being utilised to enhance productivity and quality in all aspects of our work. We believe in providing high quality cost consultancy service customised to the needs and requirement of our clients.

Perunding Kos Bersatu Sdn Bhd (PKB) is committed to promote high standards of integrity by conducting all our business dealings professionally, fairly and ethically in compliance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (MACCA) & (Amendment) Act 2018 and all applicable laws and regulations wherever we operate our business. As part of our commitment to ethical business practices, PKB has adopted the position of zero tolerance towards any act of bribery or corruption.
We do this through our implementation and enforcement of PKB – Anti Bribery Policy. The policy exists to prevent, detect and respond to bribery and corruption of all forms in our business, and, applies to all government and non-government business partners.
PKB’s directors, personnel, and business partners are expected to read, understand and comply with the requirements as stated in PKB’s Anti-bribery Policy. Third parties acting on behalf of or in the name of PKB, including agents, representatives and other intermediaries, are required to act consistently with PKB’s Anti-Bribery Policy. Joint venture partners are encouraged to adopt a similar policy and procedures to prevent bribery.
At PKB, we have a zero-tolerance position against all forms of bribery and corruption.

Anti-bribery and corruption policy statement for

Liaison with Client and other Consultants to determine initial requirements and subsequent development of the full brief.

Establishment of order of priorities (e.g. timing, phasing requirements, cost, quality, etc.)

Preparation of initial budget estimates.

Preparation of preliminary construction cash flows.
At Preliminaries Stage

Preparation of a preliminary cost plan.

Monitoring of cost implications as detailed design develops.

Updating of cost plan and construction cash flows at regular intervals.

Advise on tendering and contractual arrangements.

Preparation of tender documents based on Bills of Quantities/Schedule of Works (except those handled by the M & E Consultants and excludes preparation of schedule of materials).

Provision of advice to other Consultants in order that their tender documentation for sub-contracts and direct contracts is in harmony with the main contract.

Participation in meetings for the pre-qualification of Tenderers for the main contract and major sub-contracts or direct contracts.

Examination and analysis of the provision of reports on tenders received for the main contract and sub-contract and attendance at interviews with Contractors and Sub-Contractors prior to the awards being made.

Assist in the preparation of letters of award.

Preparation of formal contract documents for signing, stamping and circulation.
Pre Construction Stage

Preparation of revised construction cash flows in conjunction with the other Consultants, the Main Contractors, major Sub-Contractors and any Direct Contractors.

Establish standard procedures with the Contractor and major Sub-Contractors for the monthly valuations for progress payments.

Preparation of monthly valuations for progress payments to the Main Contractor, Nominated Sub-Contractors and Nominated Suppliers incorporating work executed.

Assessment of materials on site, variations, etc.

Preparation of cost checks and financial reports on a regular basis.

Preparation of final accounts including negotiation and settlement of claims and incorporating financial implications of delays, extension of time, acceleration, etc.
At Construction Stage

Attendance at meetings with Client and other Consultants.
